Katie’s Kids Home Child Care Center does not have any employees at this time, however I do use volunteer helpers. Helpers are used when we have a fun project or activity that needs an extra set of adult hands, when we go on walking field trips in the community, or when I have an appointment and need someone to watch over the daycare while I am gone.
Meet Daniel
Daniel is Katie’s husband. He works full-time for the State of Wisconsin, but is usually seen around the child care center in the evenings around pick-up time. On days off of work, he helps take the kids on outings and also watches the kids if Katie has an appointment. Daniel has taken all of the courses needed to be a licensed family child care provider in the state of Wisconsin and completes annual continuing education requirements.
Meet Grandma Jeanine
Grandma Jeanine is Katie’s mom. She often comes over once a week just to play with the kids and spend time with Katie. She also helps with outings, projects, activities, and watches the children when Katie has an appointment. Grandma Jeanine has taken all of the courses needed to be a licensed family child care provider in the state of Wisconsin and completes annual continuing education requirements.
